Y Vân: The Lost Sounds of Saigon
A Legacy Reimagined in Flavour
Inspired by the documentary Y Vân: The Lost Sounds of Saigon, we partnered with the filmmakers to tell the story of Y Vân, a legendary Vietnamese composer, and his granddaughter’s journey to rediscover his lost music.
To capture the spirit of the Mekong Delta, we crafted a blend rooted in toasted rice, star anise, and Saigon cinnamon, balanced by the brightness of perilla leaf, Thai basil, lemongrass, and pink pomelo.
The result is a spirit that embodies Vietnam’s warmth and rhythm - a sensory tribute to a story of legacy, culture, and connection.
